Romeo.Take a look at this stunning boy. He came in with his mate and were suppose to be pciked up by their owner..he never came.. Around 2 years old and very sweet, so is his girlfriend, very bonded and need to go together. see next 2 pics. Romeo is deaf or is ignoring our noises 100%. He is very interested in us rather than looking and sniffing other dogs. I would trust him with other females right now. He doesn't do that good with cats, no aggression but I think he would just try to snatch one if he could.Wyandot Co. Dog Pound

I live in Brooklyn NY but network dogs into rescue from Ohio, WV, and KY.
In the past, shelters I worked with have sent dogs to a rescuer in PA, but
recently we learned that this rescuer was hospitalized and there are serious
medical issues. A few local rescuers and I are trying to move all the dogs
to other rescues and have already moved a good number. One of the dogs, we
discovered, is a 3 year old lethal white—the rescuer tells us that he is a
border collie [NOT SO - double-merle Aussie] named Polar — . This is her
description of Polar

PLEASE CROSSPOST! DO NOT POST ON CRAIGSLIST!

He is a **wonderful dog and a great companion but due to his disability (he's blind)** his time may be very limited. Adopting an older pet can be very rewarding - they may be older but still have a lot of love to share. She would take him but she lives in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs. If you know of anyone who would like to adopt Champ - or any of the other animals - please pass this on. I know some of you don't live local, but you know or may know people who do. Please feel free to pass this along!
